Blue Iguana Cafe - Réservation de table

We decided to head towards Seaford and randomly pick a cafe for brekkie wth the kids.Drove and spotted Blue Iguana cafe that looked good exterior wise so we stopped.A young chap was our waiter and he was great in hospitality and with kids! Our wooden table was rather shaky and he gladly moved our stuff/glasses/cutleries to the next table.We ordered BLATT and Fish & Chips...well, i have to admit we had to wait for almost 30mins but luckily we had our coffee and kids to entertain us..BUT the wait was worthwhile!Food was yum - the BLATT was crunchy and hearty, the Fish n Chip was crisp and fresh....Alll GOOD:)We saw the next table having poached eggs that LOOKED perfect round and poached...and...

Once a week, I stop at Seaford, on my way to work. I happened to park outside the Blue Iguana Cafe near lunch time and decided to give it a try. The cafe is open for breakfast and lunch. It is across the road from the beach and has alovely wooden deck with outdoor tables.Inside, it was cosy, and I took shelter as the day was overcast. The breakfast menu is extensive and there is also a range of lunch options- a few with Cambodian influence, as the owners are from Cambodia.I chose a classic: a bagel with smoked salmon, cream cheese and capers. the waiter was helpful and the service was quick and efficient. I arrived late in the afternoon and discovered that the restaurant offered a generous all-day breakfast menu in addition to lunch options. We opted for an outdoor table, which was nicely shaded, but there were also tables available in the sun for those who preferred it. I decided to order the corn fritters with bacon and was pleasantly surprised to find three fritters on my plate. Although I doubted I could finish them all along with the salad and bacon, the crème fraiche on the side helped them go down smoothly. The service was friendly and efficient, and the overall atmosphere was fantastic. I definitely plan on bringing others back with me next time.

I sometimes go to this fabulous café for breakfast or lunch and have always found it to be warm welcoming and wonderful.A huge and varied menu caters for every taste and appetite,and lets not forget the coffee which is excellent.I recently tried something new which was the mezze plate,a colourful array of marinated vegetables,fish,chicken and bread.Absolutely delicious.The breakfast options are really good too.The only thing that could improve this café is to turn off the terrible loud radio station blaring in the background.Conversation is pleasant and the radio totally redundant. I had an appointment and had a little time to fill in. I decided to have a pot of tea and toast. When I opened the door I was greeted by a very friendly waiter who shoed me to my table. I was offered a menu and ordered my Pot of Tea and beautiful Toast. I have to say the young man working the tables was excellent. I parked over on the beach side so no problem for me with parking. The other meals on the menu look very inviting. I will certainly go back for a breakfast. When it was time to pay the lovely lady behind the counter also had a very Happy face.

I believe this café has new owners. There seemed to be not enough staff working. I ordered a simple breakfast with coffee and had to wait 35 minutes for the coffee to arrive. The staff were apologetic, but the owners should improve the service levels. The location is still good, but I was disappointed with the overall experience.

Good food, great service, lovely staff! Under new management is just what was needed!! Fresh faces and great energy! Food was awesome and staff attentive without being intrusive!!! Can't wait to go back again when my husband comes home!

I met a friend at this cafe that I had driven past countless times without realizing it was there. We had breakfast, which was very enjoyable. We sat outside and I was pleasantly surprised by the location on Nepean Street. Réservez une table maintenant

Do yourself a true treat and have a meal here. Parking not so easy but it will be worth it. Thd food is sensational and the service is lovely. The prices are reasonable and plenty of seating

The coffee and food are fabulous!!! The new owners are absolutely fantastic and so lovely. Love this place. A must do in Seaford. You will not be disappointed
