Blue Marlin Grille

We were very excited to try the Blue Marlin from reviews we’ve seen. I have to mention our initial reaction was a little sketchy when we first entered and encountered the hostess. She looked at my family (including me, my wife 2 adult daughters) and asked… “What can I do for you?” with an unwelcoming look on her face we interpreted to mean What are you people doing here? If we weren’t celebrating my wife’s birthday I probably would have left. She brought us to our table, literally threw the menus on the table and said someone would be with us. Me and my lady went into the most filthy booth #11. I mentioned this to the waiter and she still sat us there. It had food napkins and all kind of filth there. I was pretty embarrassed but I realized that it was probably because I am Afro-American so I wasn't welcome. Wow fun thing is I was checking out service because I wanted to invite my company there and if I showed up again with a party of 10-15 we wouldn't be taken care of. It's 2024 clean up and welcome everyone. I will never come to a place where I'm not welcome!!!

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious, the prices were very reasonable, and the drinks were generously poured. I'm visiting from Colorado and will definitely return. The swordfish and halibut were exceptional, and the service was outstanding!

Absolutely in love with this place. We visited the area for the weekend and it was a great way to enjoy the New England lifestyle! The c clams, the broiled combo and desserts were fantastic! Thanks for making NE so much fun. Réservez une table maintenant

Waitress had her own agenda for waiting on you, very slow, ask a question and get a quick negative response. a lot of garlic in the food. Talk to the manager all you get is ya ya and no help

Highly Recommended!! The variety of plates in the menu from Surf to Turf, you can go wrong! It's just delicious! Nice service and great smiles from staff. One of my favorites in Cape Ann

Everything about this place is amazing! Portions are huge, prices are great and it has a nice coastal comfy atmosphere. I would give it 6 stars if I could!
