Decided to come here because I pass by every so often on a walk. Brought my book, chilled outside, drank some nice Vanilla Porter (three cheers for craft beers; they also have your standards on tap as well), and had a massive but well-cooked burger. The menu is pretty standard. A lot of sandwiches(or paninis) of different varieties, a burger, a sirloin, salads, and a few seafood choices. They had some 80s rock on the radio...not too loud, but not too soft
This upscale spot on Broadway in downtown South Amboy offers a charming atmosphere with live jazz music. The bartenders are welcoming, and the company is delightful. Band : The Black Ties, excellent. Nice decor, didn't eat but will next time. Only critique is it was very crowded and very hot. Everyone, including myself was too hot. Turn down the heat! Other than that, a great spot to have food, drinks and enjoy music.
This is the most unusual restaurant I’ve ever been to. I ordered a beer and a rather disappointing burger, and my bill came to $60. I was informed that the charge on my card would eventually show the correct cost of my order, but that hasn't happened yet. Réservez une table maintenant
Excellent service, $5 beers, and an amazing band on a Friday night! The only recommendation I have is to turn up the background music a little louder during the band's breaks.
This place is great! Food is excellent, staff is nice,I get to play blues at the blues jam they host. And seriously,the bathrooms are spotless! Wonderful mellow environment .
What a wonderful little bar located in downtown South Amboy! It's a cozy place with a long bar, several small tables, and a charming little stage for live performances.
