We treated ourselves to some of their baked goods: I enjoyed a pecan bar, B opted for a brownie, Z chose a banana nut muffin, and ROO couldn't resist a giant chocolate chip cookie that was as big as her face! My friend decided to indulge in both a peach muffin and a blueberry muffin. I also picked up a vanilla latte to go, which was perfect for relaxing by the little Buffalo while watching the water flow by. We will certainly be returning! Our total bill, which included drinks, desserts, and lunch, came to around $70, and it was worth every cent!
The food was enjoyable. I ordered the turkey, Swiss, and bacon sandwich, served with fries. While the fries were hand-cut and fresh, I found them to be slightly too soft for my liking and could have been a bit crisper. The staff was pleasant, although I wouldn’t describe them as particularly friendly. Overall, it was fine, but there was no effort made to encourage a newcomer like me to return for a second visit.
The food was delicious, and our waitress Cat was fantastic—friendly and always served us with a smile. I really enjoyed the café's ambiance, which captured the charm of Jasper, AR, with its local jams, relishes, jellies, and vintage antiques that made you feel like you had stepped back in time a hundred years.
All I can say is delicious. Personally I prefer this cafe over the Ozark cafe hands down. The food tastes fresh and comes out hot. They were able to accommodate our gluten allergy. The service was fast but also laid back with that hometown feel. We will be back. Thank you for your hospitality.

My favorite restaurant in Jasper! The food is amazing, the staff is wonderful, and the atmosphere is delightful. The owners are actively involved in the community as volunteers. They are some of the nicest people I’ve encountered in this already friendly town!
The lattes here are fantastic—smooth and rich, especially the Butter Pecan and Mocha. The cinnamon rolls are out of this world; they reminded me of my mom's! The Peach and Strawberry muffins are also delicious.
We stopped by for lunch after a hike and had a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, and I would definitely return to try breakfast next time!
The food, service, and staff here are outstanding! I highly recommend trying the 9-grain short stack pancakes, and the coffee is fantastic as well.
