I 've been a few times, usually with others, but I decided to go on my own. It 's always so empty! The amount of staff standing around the sushi bar chatting managers, servers, kitchen staff out number the patrons. Don 't mind me, I 'm just the only paying customer in the place. Crack jokes, laugh loud, use foul language employees. I 'm sitting at the sushi bar and you are less than 10 feet away and you 're unprofessional idiots. I like the rolls. I tried the avocado thing though baked avocado? It was like weird baby food. I went back anyway and tried the omasake. It was beautiful. I was surprised to see sea urchin. Whenever I travel, I always seek out a great Korean restaurant, and this place did not let me down. I gauge Korean restaurants by their kimchi, and both the traditional and cucumber versions were spot on. I ordered the kalbi combo with kimchi soup, and both dishes were outstanding and satisfying, with generous portions of meat and kimchi. I appreciated that they asked about my preferred spice level for the soup. The service was excellent, and I really enjoyed the complimentary tea, which helped with digestion after such delicious food. The atmosphere was casual and relaxed, and I never felt rushed during my meal. I will definitely be back!
I was in town for a wedding and wanted to find a great sushi spot. Blue Octopus did not disappoint! The customer service was friendly, attentive, and sincere. The edamame was freshly boiled, and the seaweed salad had the perfect balance of vinegar, salt, and seaweed. You could really tell the orange blossom roll was made with fresh ingredients. I also tried the mango mochi, which was unlike anything I'd had before—much better than the mediocre store-bought versions I'm used to. Their mochi is so delicious that I could eat it as a meal on its own!
I visited Zip Tofu and Grill for the first time yesterday, taking an out-of-town guest for lunch. The restaurant is large and spacious, which adds to its appeal. The servers were friendly, attentive, and accommodating—special thanks to Mabel! Despite the restaurant being full and quite busy, the staff consistently checked in on us. While I wasn't particularly fond of the yellow corvina, I really enjoyed the oyster and tofu soup, as well as the clam and tofu soup. The teriyaki chicken was also quite tasty. We'll definitely be returning!

Ordered signature beef galbi tofu soup and beef combo with seafood tofu soup. Portion is reasonable with side dishes. The only problem was that the shrimp in the seafood soup was not fresh. But the service was excellent. After notified the manager of the shrimp, he gave a 20% off discount. Even without the discount, it's $40 for 2 persons for dinner. Will definitely come back!
Wasn't that busy. Kept asking for my chapchae. Staffs are super friendly and nice. I'm a party of 4. Foods came out one by one in between of every 15 mins I thought that kinda odd. I guess they try to accommodate every tables there. So foods are slow by the time I'm having my entree my bf he already done with his meal I'm the last one to finish of 4 ?
Highly recommended Korean restaurant. Excellent food and service. You feel so welcomed. Lastly, price is very reasonable. The Signature beef Galbi soup and the organic tofu soup is amazing. They served it hot and still boiling. And they give you tons of complimentary side dishes like kimchi, cucumber salad, potato salad, japchae and many more.
Good was very tasty and the spice was spot on. Seafood pancake was not as expected. Should provide descriptions for their appetizers. Service was good very attentive. Highly recommend!
