I really wanted to like this place. the entrance is apparently removed from a street so they might miss it. lui saw rolling with tofu for appetizer. this order is quite huge, so do not order if it is for 1 person. it was okay, though the tofu was hard to find in it, they used it so sparingly. for the head, I ordered green curry with tofu. the curry was more of a stew, very thick. it was with a few long stripes jalapenos jalapenos with the seeds, with the ribs. that was the indication that this will probably be as hot as the duck. that was it. My brother and I ate at the Blue Orchid once. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and wasn't too busy. It's kind of hard to find at first. The food was really good. I remember I had something with cashews and some kind of meat(my brother said it would basically take the point away from the dish if I didn't have the meat). For seating, you can sit inside or they have a small area outside that you can sit at. The only cons about this restaurant is the waiters were relatively slow. Since I haven't been there any other time, I am not sure if they were behind in employees or what was going on. I had never tasted Thai food before, but I was impressed. I would definitely go back.
blue orchid quickly became one of our favorite restaurants. the server are extremely polite and attentive, and they understand veganism and are able to make changes. vegan dishes are not marked, so make sure to ask their server. my favorite dishes are drunk noodles and the curry with tofu. the cocktails of the signature are worth a trip itself. Try the lemongrass martini! the only article I regretted were the tofu fresh spring rolls, which were mostly salat and very little tofu.
Beware! We love this place so that the service is really at an all time low. A 5:15 pm reservation should be sufficient time to make a 7 pm Lied show but we were rushed since it took so long to get food. Waiter never checked back for another cocktail or water. The food was good but not sure it makes up for lack of timely service.

they love this as lunch place, they have a great pairing menu. tell the server that they don't want fish sauce or egg, just for the case. they have several options and keep their suppening vegan, unless they choose to add huh. always stay satisfied! also try their new restaurant, issara, located at the pine lake (south lincoln).
our waiter was so helpful to help us choose the best entrees. his recommendations were very good, also with the selection of a sweet weine to finish our meal.
This place was a favorite of mine when I lived in Lincoln years ago. I’m glad the food and service is just as great today as it was a decade ago!
had a very good experience, including tofu trinket, big earlylings roles, beautiful Asian veg mix with tofu.
