Went to the Blue Rose for a graduation lunch for my son. It was a fairly large party, about 15 people. My wife called ahead a couple of weeks ago to make sure they could accommodate a large group. We were told no problem, and made reservations for 1 PM and left our contact information.
We arrive on time and proceeded to order. Over the course of the next half hour or so, a majority of our table receive our food. After about forty-five minutes or so, the waitress comes over and apologizes for the rest of us not receiving our food, and assures us that it would out shortly.

I went to the Blue Rose the first time this week with my coworkers who had been there before. The restaurant, inside and outside, looks good. Very nice view of the Arkansas River. However, the general area is kind of shady, which I already knew. When we arrived, there were 2 vagrants on the park benches. I'm fine with them, but I have to be honest about the ambiance and area, and they did take away some points. Our waitress seemed discombobulated and had quite a bit of difficulty telling us what the specials were. 2 of my coworkers ordered iced tea, and they were two completely different strengths of tea. Not impressed enough to go back. Lunch with a small group. Wait staff was OK, seemed to all get along. Food was the issue, grilled chicken salad had chicken so dry no amount of dressing could salvage. Grilled catfish weirdly soggy and hard on edges. Just not impressed with taste of anything we had. Then belly turned within 30 minutes of leaving. Many other better options in Tulsa. Cool vibe and funky atmosphere- maybe for drinks only??

Good Food Good Service. One of my favorite places to eat especially during the Tulsa Fall- enjoy the outdoor dining -beautiful weather; the sunsets on the river are beautiful! The staff is professional in a laid back atmosphere. No crybabies that means be thankful for what you receive, which leaves no room for complaining. More people should adopt this saying in their everyday real life situaltions. Thank-You Blue Rose...You Rock!

Love coming here Thursday nights for Karaoke and $5 chicken tender platter. I forgot my my debit card and did not have enough to cover the meal with the cash I had on me. The server was very sweet and attentive. Completely helped us out and didn?t charge usfor the tea. Making the total enough to cover with the cash I had. Excellent customer service to begin with. Amazing job Paige!!Thank you soo much!
We ordered cheese fries and the original burger. Although the burger bun was burned and the cheese fries were cold I give four stars due to the manager. She did the right thing to comp our meal and explained they were going through a transitional periodwith kitchen staff and wait staff. Asked us to please come back again and give them another chance. And, we will. GreatManager!

We love the Blue Rose mainly for the ambiance and the view from the deck. The food is good but the menu is very limited. Great drinks and good entertainment on the weekends.
Wonderful food but not worth the poor service nor lack of inventory
