This is without doubt the best fish & chip shop in Melbourne. Super clean and run by a young couple, they certainly take pride in what they offer. Their potato cakes are homemade and are always cooked to perfection and their chips are golden and crispy. Nothing better than a chip that crunches when you bite into it. Everything they cook is fresh and delicious. I'd recommend grabbing an order from Blue Seas and enjoying it on the beach while watching the sunset over the bay.
Tried Blue Seas with new owners tonight. We were not a fan of the old food so we were happy when we saw the new menu and new ownership.I am BLOWN AWAY! The food was awesome even after walking it home in the cold.Chips were tasty and crunchy which has been lacking in the Chelsea area.Thank you Blue Seas. We now won't need to go anywhere else now!
I concur with the review by Russell M - the best fish and chip shop around.The Fish burger is a real favouirite and their chips are always cooked right to perfection never too soggy nor greasy.The couple run such a clean shop, take pride in their offer.Really good value for money too. All praise to Blue Seas.
Decent sized serving of fish, however didn't seem to be that fresh. Apart from that there is nothing to really report apart from the fact it was all average. Can't complain not congratulate the quality of the potato cakes, dim sims or chips, just your average frozen food that's been thrown in a fryer. Réservez une table maintenant
It is take away only, but the beach is just 150 metres away, awaiting your picnic. I could not believe the prices: fish at under $6, burgers starting under $5 and minimum chips at just $3. My grilled fish was fresh and came with a piece of lemon.
New management has taken over and it now does Greek Gyros, souvlakis and excellent fish and chips. Try the pork Gyros. Delicious full of meat and traditional Greek style without lettuce. Cheap too at $7.90. Best kebabs in Chelsea.
We've tried all fish and chip shops in Chelsea and this is our favorite. Good value for money & the grilled flake is by far the best we've had in a long time.
