Blue Shores Fish & Chips

We are local and had never tried Blue Shores Fish and Chips before, as we didn't even realize they were there. After finally visiting, we have found our new favorite Fish and Chips spot. Despite the drive back to Stayner, the fish remained crispy, hot, and delicious. The fries and coleslaw were also excellent, with generous portions. The owner, who hails from the east, shared that his experience there has helped him master the art of cooking up a great fish and chips dish. We will definitely be returning to this hidden gem of a restaurant. Thank you.

My husband and I disappointed to find no local fish on the menu, despite this restaurant's location near the shores of Lake Huron (well, in a strip mall several blocks from the beach). We each had a largely inedible poorly cooked piece of barely unfrozen cod. And yet the fries were good! Blue Shores would do well do drop the fish and focus on pitas instead.

We had lunch and it was ok but the place was FILTHY! Even the checkout countertop and vinegar and ketchup bottle were covered in grunge! I was shocked to see the health department certificate on the front window was acceptable rating. I would not recommend this place to anyone!

We had a bot wrap and a pulled pork wrap and shared the homemade onion rings. The food tasted fresh and delicious. We had a great conversation with the owner. This is a great place to grab some food on the way to the beach or to celebrate finishing shopping.

Small dirty place.... food was average nothing special not my favorite will stick with other places in town
