Just stopped last night because of the Billboard list Mile high cake. After a ten-hour drive, exhausted and not know what to expect. We were immediately greeted by tin foil wrapped cakes that looked just like Grandma earlier!!! The waiter was super nice and informed us that the buffet had an enormous selection. He was absolutely right. I've never seen a buffet with such a big homemade selection. It was like Thanksgiving dinner on steroids. They did not let us take over the inability to take a credit card or a debit card until after we had eaten and they had a fee of $3.50 for use. Had been crossed, but before we even approached the ATM, the lady told us we could send the payment. You see wha...
That was our second time to eat here... the reason why it's a second because the food was so good the first. Very good home style food, an excellent value and fantastic service... We drove from Oklahoma to Pennsylvania and stopped here because of the food network recommendation...now we recommend the Blue Springs to everyone between St.Louis and Indianapolis...Thanx for a great culinary experience.... These people are crazy... I just ordered the chicken fried steak and it was a decent size, about half the size of the dish. The colleague is shredded... What it should be. You can get refills from all sides, so if you don't have enough, ask for more. The pickled beets are delicious. Most portions are massive, but with the sides you will never get hungry. It's a good place.
I had the chicken and dumplings, sweet tea and chocolate cake. The food was delicious and made at home! The best I had! Our server was Austin and he was friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and extremely professional. I would recommend stopping everyone here. Thank you for a great experience.
