A frustrating place to visit. The food is delicious, but the rest leaves a lot to be desired. I've had takeaways from here a couple of times, and absolutely loved the food. Sadly, today, after ordering a takeaway (it was full, and no tables likely for a while), I was told to wait outside for my food to be given to me in freezing temperatures! This had not happened to me previously. I know that when it's busy, it can take a while for the food to appear, so I asked for my money back (card only), and left, very disappointed. Unfortunately, this has really put me off returning.
After passing Bluebird for years, we finally tried it this weekend... twice! We went for coffees on the Saturday. I’m not a coffee drinker but my partner said they were really good and great value for money. The staff were so pleasant and the coffee so good we had to go back for breakfast!On Sunday we tried the breakfast burrito, bluebird burrito and a couple morning rolls. Everything was brilliant! Can’t wait to try more of the Bluebird’s menu!
This is a very small place in Canonmills that serves very authentic Far Eastern meals and coffees . We went for breakfast and I couldn’t fault the full breakfast full of spicey flavours especially the Potato and eggs . My daughter especially loved the coffee available in different variations . Can’t be easy with such limited space but I’d go back again in a flash . Service was excellent no problems at all
Just popped in for take away before we hit the road. I ordered my husband the vegan jackfruit cowboy caviar burrito. He said it was hands down the best burrito he has ever had. It was a good size too, which is wonderful because it is hard to keep this big vegan guy fed! Thanks!!

Great place to have a breakfast. Food was very tasty, staff friendly. Small place, however very good prices : We had scots breakfast and chedar pancakes and we were really satisfied.
Dropped in for breakfast on a Saturday morning based on good reviews. I was not disappointed, its small but the staff were welcoming and friendly.

I would strongly recommend this cafe for breakfast. Healthy porridge, pancakes, good coffee. We will go back.
