Had lunch at Bluegrass. There was a very homey vibe even though decorated for Mardi Gras and offering a Mardi Gras menu. What ever else you order try the corn pudding. It's delicious. The service was great and we finished with the bread pudding and the banana's foster. Both were excellent. Great place for lunch with a menu offering excellent choices.
Wonderful food. I ordered the side chopped salad for lunch with added salmon and it was totally enough food. Their butter is to die for. I could have eaten the whole basket of bread with that butter! Waitress was very attentive, luckily it wasnât busy at lunch so we were able to stay there longer. Coming back for Mardi Gras specials!
We hadnât eaten at the Blue Grass since prior to the Pandemic, although we had ordered take-out a number of times. The food never disappoints and the service was excellent. How do they fill the water glasses pouring so high and not spilling a drop.ð¤
The food is always amazing. The service that night was a bit slow. The ambiance definitely needs a redo. But we love BlueGrass. Lousianna grouper outstanding. I love the Bluegrass salad. Réservez une table maintenant
While not completely New Orleans style food, it was great for their take on New Orleans cuisine. Atmosphere was warm and welcoming, food was delicious, and service was excellent.
Bluegrass was excellent as always. If you like Orange Chicken. Try it here it's better than anywhere else, but everything is fantastic. I have never had a disappointing meal.
This is truly a Highland Park treasure with imaginative presentation of largely comfort food with some very special menu items. Plan on reservations.
