When the staff member delivered the juices, she brought orange juice instead of the pineapple juice we ordered and paid for. She returned to correct this, but then when two hot meals arrived, one did not include the mushrooms we had requested. We informed her that we wanted both sourdough dishes with avocado and extra mushrooms.
When my tropical fruit plate arrived, I had to ask where the yogurt was. She left to fetch it, but when she returned, I discovered the yogurt had no sweetness, and the honey was missing. My partner then queued to get honey, but after a long wait, he opted to grab a small packet of honey spread instead.
The service was terrible, and we were left very disappointed....

Board Cafe never fails to impress me. Wednesdays and Saturdays tend to be busier (although not as crowded as Manly), but if you're looking to enjoy a beautiful and quiet atmosphere, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday are ideal. Sometimes, Fridays are also great, and if you're like me and dive during the day, the place is usually half-empty. It's perfect for remote work. Overall, it's the best spot in Brisbane!
Came here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. The atmosphere was nice enough. Ordered eggs Benny for $20. They should be poached eggs with soft runny yolks. They came out hard boiled.
