Food was really great! It eas surprisingly very kid friendly, which is a plus for a nicer restaurant and having two toddlers. They gave them a bag of goldfish when we sat down. Split their kids meal for us, and then gave them an ice cream sandwich with a massive mount of whipped crème for dessert. My kids were THRILLED! We were shocked and very happy they catered so well to them. We were a little disappointed by the water front patio that we reserved. We knew it would be covered, but we were sitting towards the back of the covered patio, pretty far away from the water and they had plastic covered all of the sides that you couldn't see through really well. Honestly, we would have had a better...
The hostesses were exceptionally pleasant as well as thoughtful, our server Svetlana was very attentive as well as helpful and the food was its usual top-notch. Our party of six consisted of two locals, two from PA, two from TX and the out-of-towners could not stop taking photos of the view and sending them back home to make their friends jealous. We had a diverse mixture of apps, entrees and desert and all of us were very pleased with the portions, freshness as well as cook of the various seafood dishes and we all remarked on how the Boat House had been the perfect venue for our very special occasion. Thanks to everyone at the Boat House who made ours a perfect evening.
We dine at the boathouse a lot The appetizers were fine, salad was fine My husband, grilled swordfish was very thin and it was dry Didn't see the waitress so we couldn't complain or return it We did tell another waitress and she was supposed to pass it on to our waitress, but I don't think she did our waitress never mentioned it so we didn't mention it again Dessert baklava crumble with crème fraîche It was served warm, so the Filo was soft and the texture of the deserted itself was very different not what I expected On the other hand, the crème fraîche gelato was outstanding.
Piece of swordfish was about a 2 1/2 ounce piece more like a fish stick than a piece of sword. The manager did apologize and resent out a new piece after everyone else was done with their meal. Also, he took the sword off the bill, which was excellent recovery in customer service. Waiter wax pouring water for the table and overfilled allowing water to fall on the floor, the floor and the legs of our guest It was a very busy Thursday night of Summer reservations that's making it very loud. Otherwise everything else was fine.

The experience was underwhelming overall. The bread served was stale, and the butter in the center was unappetizing and lacked taste. The calamari primarily tasted like flour. The fish and chips were excessively large—yes, I’m complaining it was too much—making it feel indulgent and wasteful. Everything felt hastily prepared, with little consideration for portion sizes or flavor. There are definitely much better options for seafood in Rhode Island.
We were originally reserved for a hi top and upon arrival asked if we could be seated at a table. The hostess immediately said”sure, we can take care of that for you!” We were seated at a table with a view- such a pleasant surprise. Morgan took care of us from there and was stellar. Friendly service, like we were old friends. Food was made even more delicious by the outstanding service. We'll be back!
We came here for my dad's 70th birthday and even with a large party that included an infant and a four year old we were well taken care of and everyone had a great time! You cannot beat the view and the food- don't miss the halibut, raw bar sampler, bread board or cocktails! Also definitely a great date night spot later on in the evening.
We were celebrating my husbands 75th birthday. Our server, Gemma was outstanding. Our appetizers our drinks, and our main courses came out perfectly timed. The food was outstanding and my husband even received a free dessert. Love the boathouse

Always a great atmosphere with amazing views and impeccable service. Food was good this time, but not great. The paella was very dry and seafood overcooked. The tuna app was very good and the oysters were fresh and cold.
