Arrived with my husband and two children and even though the restaurant was full inside, they were happy to seat us outside. We both ordered the surf and turf, one with lobster and the other with prawns. Both dishes were delicious, the seafood was tender and flavorful. The steak portion was huge and worth the price. The owners were serving us outside and were a lovely couple, with a special thank you to Nettie for her hospitality. This was our first time discovering this restaurant in Newquay, and we will definitely be returning on our next visit.
the view is fantastic, the staff very friendly. we had only coffee and I can say that in the two years since we were in Britain, the coffee definitiw has improved. I would simply recommend this place. they have living lobsters and crabs in ponds as they come 8n, so if they like this type of dinge, they can be sure to be a fresh meal.
been in newquay for a few days and was not so impressed by the restaurants id found so far, then I was told about the boathouse. it was exactly what I was after, to travel with fresh locally caught fish! it was not disappointed that eating was fantastic and the staff very friendly, would definitely recommend!
This restaurant has been a longtime favorite! It truly is a hidden gem, there is no better place for ambiance and seafood in the area. Our family loves it here.

We headed here for lunch and really enjoyed the soup and sandwiches.
Had the most incredible meal here, beautiful views and the seafood platter was out of this world. Can't wait to come back again.
Lovely place lovely food lovely staff , we travelled nearly 2 hrs to get here from Mousehole and it was well worth it .
Friendly staff, lovely harbour side location and stunning food. Child friendly and great value. Highly recommended!
