The restaurant was relatively empty, yet it took around 30 minutes for our salads and sandwiches to arrive. The cheese curds were overpriced for just eight pieces. The salads were average, the patty melt was tasty, but the black bean burger, which was supposed to come on a pretzel bun, did not. The waffle fries were hard and cold by the time we received our meals. Despite asking, we never got a refill on our soda. The black and tan beer was mixed together, instead of being served separately as it should be. Overall, it was too expensive for the quality of food provided.
We decided to visit Boat House on a whim. I made an online reservation and managed to secure a table for 6 PM on Saturday. It was our first time there, and we definitely plan to return. The food was excellent, the service was attentive, and the atmosphere was pleasant.
The appetizers were enjoyable, but unfortunately, both of our fish entrées—the fried shrimp and cod—were overcooked. The breading on both dishes was a dark brown color.

Brought my family for the Thanksgiving buffet. The setup and variety were very nice, and the service was great. Food was mostly excellent!

This is a very cool, very nautical-themed bar and grill style restaurant near Kenosha's harbor/waterfront area.
The cod was extremely greasy; it needed to be drained longer prior to serving.
