The venue is terrific, but the food and service are mediocre. There's a very good reason they don't have repeat business. If they could fix their poor execution, this restaurant could be lined up out the door, into the beach. Look at the business they are doing at "Local", with a poorer location. We started with the Seafood Share Platter, $36.99 Most of the platter was decently flavoured but the crab dip was awful. It was very salty and glue-like, a Cheese Whiz that made it impossible to taste the crab. Consistency of melted Cheese and the flavour of Whiz. We also had the Mixed Seafood Grill, the better of the two dishes.

My wife and I ate here during a trip to Vancouver, and very much enjoyed it. She had the crab cakes, and I had the swordfish, with creme brulee for dessert. Although I am used to having my swordfish baked differently, what I was served was excellent, and the potatoes and asparagus were delicious. The cod was terrific, and the creme brulee was made to perfection. Our only complaint was that our server could have been a bit more attentive, but otherwise, we were very pleased. And the wonderful view of the beach made it all the more delightful.
dinner with family. eight of us were seated in about 15-20 minutes. we enjoyed 2 appetizers, calamari and the sampler platter. I love calamari and theirs was good. the crab queso and coconut shrimp were also good. I had a combo of their fish chowder and ceasar salad. The chowder was great, and the salad was was ok. I think, by then I was pretty full and the salad didn't thrill me. service was great. atmosphere was also nice.
Absolutely horrible. My first time at this location, and it was not amazing. Zero service (even though the restaurant was basically dead), mediocre food. Not at all impressed. We were served our appies without any cutlery or plates...I had to ASK for these. Very annoyed, as this restaurant is pricier compared to other. I WOULD NOT go to this location! Very no Honest, first I order "Sandhill Rose Wine"($44), also they give me wrong one from France Rose($37), i think is doesn't matter and drink.... And after I pay for bill, they changed it to "Joie Farm Rose($48), a server's name Ewan.... Make me feel unhappy at all.... No more there.... Food is okay....
Location is great, overlooking KIts Beach and towards North Shore. On a windy day, if you sit by the windows, you'll be in an annoying draft of cold air on one side and a blast of heat on the other. Service is not the greatest and food is mediocre. Go for the view and hope for the best.
Enjoyed eating here before a theatre trip, we sat by the window and the views of the bay and Kitsilano beach were wonderful. Had fish and chips which unfortunately were a little over cooked, and the batter was very heavy, but nevertheless it was a really pleasant experience.
We share a few appetizers and drinks. Crab dip was served with deep fried pita. Why ? Dip is already greasy from the cheese. Most of it was left despite that we were 3 of us. Great Caesar salad and oysters. I would go back for the view. Réservez une table maintenant
