During our drive home, we stopped at Bob Evans after asking a woman if she had ever eaten there, which she had not. The food was delightful: I had a burger topped with a hash brown, egg, and bacon, served with fries. It was incredibly tasty, but the woman really enjoyed her frying-belt sandwich. She was also impressed by how clean and tidy the restaurant was, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, it was such a great experience that we'll likely visit more Bob Evans locations in the future.
Usually we have had wonderful service...but today was a complete miss completely messed up our whole order food ended up cold by the time our fixed food came empty drinks and server never asked if we needed refills after coming back to our table 3 times...eggs came out with shells in them. Worst service and experience EVER. Told manager and he offer a free slice of banana bread which we refused. What a disappointment. Did not even offer discount we won't be back!!!?
the waitress was brilliant, but eating tasted bad and was skill burned and actually made us sick. after the first few bites I could not finish the meal and was refunded by the manager. we typed the waitress because she was not responsible for making the food and went to another place when we were gone to eat and was completely in order so that it was definitiw her eating that made us sick.
Very poor service. I waited 15 minutes before finally leaving. There were four parties before me and several empty, cleaned tables ready for customers. Yet, everyone was left waiting in the lobby. One lady almost fell asleep. Many customers had finished, paid and left, but no one was being seated in their place.
The Steakhouse Burger and Salad were fantastic! However, I was disappointed with the tiny portion of the Summer Strawberry Supreme Pie they served me. They even provided two sets of silverware, as if it were meant to be shared, which was amusing, but it felt ridiculous to pay $6 for just one bite.
