We are delighted to live in the western part of New York State, where there are three Bob Evans restaurants within a 25-mile radius: one in Fredonia/Dunkirk, another in Jamestown, and a third in Warren, PA. All three locations are very clean, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the food is both well-prepared and affordable. My personal favorite is the cup of sausage gravy paired with two cookies. I even suggested to the owner of one of the clubs I belong to that he should visit Bob Evans to learn how to make delicious cookies for his strawberry shortcake. If you're looking for a place with good, reasonably fast service, don't overlook Bob Evans.

Lets start by saying the Sweet Iced Tea, fresh fruit and buttermilk biscuits were fantastic and made the whole meal. Unfortunately the meals themselves were just okay. The Country-Fried Steak Platter tasted heavily of flour, but it was edible, and the mash potatoes were a bit pasty like instant potatoes. The Fork-Tender Pot Roast needed seasoning and was just gravy with very small chunks of meat, would of liked an actual piece of meat. The kids enjoyed their meals (they are not hard to please) but did complain about how small the servings were. We did order dessert but have not eaten it yet therefore I will not rate them but It looks good so fingers crossed.
We barely had a moment to settle into our seats before the meal arrived. I ordered the chicken salad plate for dinner, and it was delightful—made with healthy chicken and walnuts, accompanied by juicy, sweet strawberries, fresh cantaloupe, and two generous bunches of seedless red grapes, all served on a bed of greens. The service was attentive, but my lunch companion truly made the experience special.
Another outstanding breakfast experience! I still have a deep affection for this place. The Brioche French toast, scrambled eggs, and fries were all excellent. However, the sausage is truly the standout dish that makes it worth coming here. It's incredibly tasty! I just wish we had a location nearby.

The hotcakes were good on their own, but the syrup was not the best. I dont recommend getting bacon to go; it isnt as good cold. Not the restaurants fault, just a heads up. The banana bread and coffee were great! For sure helped keep this meal from 3/5 stars.
Great customer service! Ordered a double steak house burger and when I got back to the hotel I noticed that there was only one patty not two. I called and spoke to the manager Mike and he had my order remade and personally delivered it to me. Thank you!
Not so happy that I never heard of a Bob Evans until our trip to Indiana and fortunately there was one right across our hotel! Beyond good it was so hard to choose
I love Bob Evans! The food is always delicious and family-friendly. The Fork-Tender Pot Roast is my favorite, and I really enjoy the mashed potatoes with gravy.

I wouldn't suggest ordering a drink here; $4 for a 20-ounce tea is ridiculous. However, the Slow-Roasted Turkey Dressing with fresh rolls is always a hit!
