Boba Tea Cafe Vietnamese-thai

The food was enjoyable, but the service left much to be desired. My family and I were the only Black patrons at the restaurant, and it took us longer to get a table. Once seated, it took quite a while for anyone to come over and assist us. I noticed that other customers—who were White, Asian, and Hispanic—received prompt attention. In contrast, we had to call out multiple times and wait several minutes before anyone would attend to us. It’s disheartening to see how racism can manifest in such situations.

I ordered the Bon Bo Hue. The food was delicious! It was my first time ordering this type of dish. It was super flavorful and would definitely order it again. I also got the Boba and that was very yummy too. My only complaint was the service. I had to keep getting up to ask for things and they never came by to check on us. But the food was amazing! Also, I got the regular size and wow the regular portion is huge it was about a Liter! Just a little FYI. If you aren't starving.

My family and I had a good experience at this restaurant. The ambience was very calming and comfortable. There was a bit of a wait to order but we were informed of understaffing at the time. Nonetheless, our food arrived quickly. We had the pineapple fried rice, chicken pad thai and tofu green curry. Everything tasted great! Very authentic. The staff was also very polite — shout out to Robin who had a conversation with us. Would definitely recommend.

As for vegetarian options, they have a few that seem vegan, as well as several vegetarian choices. In terms of wheelchair accessibility, the restaurant appeared to be accessible. About one-third of the seating is raised up three steps, but the remaining two-thirds is flat, including the bathroom. Réservez une table maintenant

Place states hours of 10pm Monday-Friday. Kitchen closes over hour before closing. I would not recommend wasting your time showing up well before the kitchen “closes”. Please see my photo that states “KITCHEN CLOSES 1/2 HR PRIOR TO CLOSING TIME” and does not say Boba Tea.

I wanna love this place. Had the red curry and it was divine but ordered Pad Thai with shrimp to go and it was overcooked and inedible. I had to throw it out. However, gonna give it another try today. I've never had Pad Thai so cannot compare to others.
