My partner and I dined at this restaurant last night. We both ordered the prawn starter, but they were overcooked and too brown. We returned them and they replaced them without any issues. However, the replacement lacked seasoning and wasn't very tasty. My husband enjoyed his anchovy pizza, while I found my lambs liver slightly tough in parts and the sauce too sweet for my taste. The fresh vegetables were good. Our glasses were empty when our main courses arrived and no one offered us another drink. The service throughout the evening was cold and impersonal, with little engagement from the staff. When it came to dessert, menus were dropped on our table without a word. Our table was cramped against a wall in a corner, despite a more spacious table for two being available and empty all night. It was a disappointing experience overall, especially considering the £95 bill. We expected better service and food quality for that price.
A lovely family run restaurant. Staff were cheerful and couldn't do enough for you. The chef even made my daughter the best carbonara I've ever tasted, which wasn't on the menu. I had the seafood risotto which was delicious, followed by the best tiramisu. Would highly recommend a visit, and I'll definitely be returning.
The pizzas at this restaurant are fantastic - made with handcrafted dough, fresh bread, olive oil, and intriguing authentic Italian toppings. The personalized service and pleasant atmosphere only enhance the experience. It is clear that both the owners and the chef are knowledgeable and skilled in their craft.
