Bob's is a well-known restaurant that many people talk about. I have tried several of their sandwiches over the years and, to be honest, they were all average except for the Italian sub, which was fantastic. This week, I decided to try some of their pasta dishes for the first time and, wow! When I called to place my order, the person who answered the phone seemed to have no knowledge of Italian dishes. I had to repeat my order for the frutti di mare fra diavolo with fusilli four times before they understood. When I received my order, I found that the fusilli was overcooked and clumped together like mac and cheese. The sauce had no flavor, was not spicy, and the seafood seemed frozen. Unless...
I dined at Bob's yesterday and spent $96. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the food. The meatball sub tasted terrible, as the meatballs were clearly not homemade and had a strong taste of bread crumbs. The spumoni ice cream also did not meet my expectations, as it tasted freezer burnt. The chicken, broccoli, and ziti saute dish was the only highlight of the meal. The stuffed peppers were quite bland and I have definitely had better elsewhere. Overall, I felt that the quality at Bob's has decreased since my last visit. I moved away and had not been to Bobs in a while. Today I was shocked at the small portions as well as the increased prices. Let's not forget this was a sub shop now a full-time to go restaurant? I have been a customer of Bob's for more than a decade. However, I am disappointed to say that their prices have increased dramatically and their portion sizes have decreased significantly. The small sandwiches that used to be generous enough to have leftovers are now insufficient and priced at $15. Regrettably, Bob's has lost a loyal customer.

They use good ingredients, but man…I feel like McDonald’s does a better job assembling a sandwich. The last few times I’ve ordered, there’s like two onion pieces and all the meat is on one side of the roll. They should take a little more care during the assembling of the sandwiches.
I was very disappointed with the meatball sandwich wrap at this restaurant. It was wrapped in foil that had burn marks and sauce all over it, which made it look unhealthy. I ended up throwing it away.
Don't believe the pictures of the chicken parm subs, they don't look like that anymore. If you want 75% bread 25% chicken, this is your spot.
I was disappointed to find salami on my steak and cheese sandwich. As a Jewish person, I am unable to eat this type of meat.
