the restaurant is located in the bodódromo in petrolina. while they run around, they will notice that angelo is always one of the two most visited restaurants. the reason: the absolute excellent service and the great food they serve. first, they take pre-serve. treat them so polite that you can feel embodied. the authentic Northeast Brazilian food is delicious. not salty, not sharp, but different. We had a goat sausage, lamb cafta and barley cheese as appetizers. all delicious. as we had a lamb fillet for us four. the beside courts were the typical fried yucca with regional butter (manteiga de litro,) yucca puree, regional bohnen (feijao tropeiro,) rice and we ordered a small part of pirao d...
the best roasted lamb in petrolina! I recommend to cool off the intense heat that can be experienced in this city with a sausage and a cold beer. the service is also excellent. After trying some other restaurants from the same...complex, I can testify that this is the one where the most competent and attentive. sadly, they have recently rebuilt the whole place. all trees chopped down (which alone cost a star) and turned into what looks like an airport hangar. but if you manage to do the silly loud musicians who sometimes visit the restaurant, it is still a must!
Specialized in billy goat, also serves regional food like 'baiao de dois ' a mix of beans and rice with 'queijo de coalho ' a kind of regional cheese. We tried 'kafta ' made of billy goat meat, filled with queijo de coalho and it was nice. There...is a homemade pepper preparation that was good and is available at the cashier.
