We were visiting the Rioja wine region and after buying a few cases of wine, called in for a meal at La Nieta. Whilst not all the food was of the same standard, it was an amazing experience. The staff were very helpful and whilst they had as much English as we had Spanish, we all managed well. Would have liked some help with the menu as we ended up only choosing dishes we could reasonably identify so missed out on some good regional dishes. The coffee was NOT good! The building is quite extraordinary being built into the side of a hill.
