Front of house waitresses were very friendly, but it is very clear that this place is a big fish in a small pond. With very limited choice, we stumbled upon this place, and, with it being a fishing town, we chose to indulge in the seafood. To cut a long story short, we ordered a starter 2 mains from the seafood menu, were served 3 starters. The wine was the best value part of the meal. If you are on a diet or watching your carb intake, and like overspending on very simple meals, then this is the place for you. Last day in Spain, on a lazy drive to Bilbao airport, we stumbled across the town of Mundaka. Pretty place, small town, relaxed pace of life this time of year. We chose to eat here as it looked like a proper restaurant, we'd had an awful lot of Pintxo's by then! Pleasant greeting from an enthusiastic and charming waitress, poked at the menu, a plate of Jamon Iberico and simple Salad to start. El dueño un poco borde, que en vez de aconsejar, casi nos obligaba a comer lo que él decía....que tenia razón, porque todo lo que nos propuso estaba muy bueno, pero podía tener otra deljcadeza. Me quedo con los chipirones en cebolla y si vuelvo por Mundaka, está claro que será el sitio para comer

We ate here on the recommendation of our guide. We were all set to order off the menu, but the owner recommended some other dishes, so we agreed. 250€ later we found out those recommendations were way out of line with prices on the menu. Don't waste your money.
excelente lugar para saborear platos de la zona, entre los cuales se encuentran los peces, mariscos y carnes a la brasa. el personal muy amable y atento. Le recomiendo a todos los que pasan por mundaka para hacer un alto oara comer o cenar aquí.
Excelente experiencia. La comida estuvo genial. Muy bien servida y excelente preparación. Muy equilibrada. Comimos ensalada de bonito, almejas a la marinera, changurro y corvina. Y tarta de queso de postre. Todo buenísimo. Volveremos seguro.
Simplemente BRUTAL! Maravilloso tanto en el trato como la comida. Las cantidades de comida perfectas. El lugar muy acogedor y el servicio excelente, la chica es un encanto y se desvive por que estés a gusto con todo. Lo recomiendo!

very good deal on the part of the staff. we ate anchovies and cogote of merluza to the brasa. It was all rickety. Good views of the port. There were local people, it's always a good sign.
today we have eaten in family and with dog. the quality of the unbeatable food. value. excellent service. very familiar treatment and local products. We'll be back!
