Our wonderful guide Jose brought us here on the way to visit La Luguna. The owners are a family and have run this place for years and Jose comes here with his own family whenever he can. And it’s not hard to see why. Tucked into a cosy corner we filled our half litre jug with local wine from the cask right beside us. Jose ordered salad and huge bread rolls to start. Then plates of tender pork, flaming sausages, and chicken (this wasn’t as good) but the first two meats were fantastic. Loved the ambiance and this place is a steal best value in our week’s stay in Tenerife!
We always visit Bodegon Campestre when we come to Tenerife. Our first visit was in 1996 and it just gets better. The salads, the bread and olive dip are just amazing. I always have the black pudding or the selection if sausages which come to the table on fire. The steaks, lamb and chicken are all cooked on volcanic rock and are delicious. It's out of the way in a little village but worth the trek. The staff are so lovely and welcome you back. Sometimes you have to wait for a table at busy times but it's no hassle because the food is to die for.
Sitio auténtico y con mucho jaleo. Nos tocó esperar unos 15 minutos para tener mesa. Me sorprendió que hasta en los entrantes había varios platos de carne. Nos sujetamos un poco y pedimos ensalada, patatas fritas, croquetas, abanico y conejo. Todo muy bueno, el conejo espectacular. Atención algo caótica pero rápida y amable. Chupito de parte de la casa. Precios razonables. Me cobraron 1,05 € por un café sólo, creo que no he pagado eso en la península desde 2001.
Skip the menu. Just hit the sausages. They are the business taste great and are served on fire. How dramatic can you get? Get there early as parking soon fills up (we did visit on a Saturday though. I wouldn’t order the fries again as the salad they supply is massive. Great meal. If you’re heading west from there just stay on the same road all the way home for views of a lifetime.

La última vez con mi pareja , siempre es un acierto es más han mejorado en servicio que es lo que fallaban , la carne un espectáculo como siempre , han subido los precios pero como todos , recordar que hagan bien las salchichas los chorizos si no avisas los traen medios hechos , el pan calentito , todo bien y rico como siempre , a llevar pullover para el pelete , bravo chicos
We were in this restaurant after many years. They treated us well, but I have to recognize that they have little personal. We order half roast chicken and a churrasco. the chicken was very good though the churrasco had no flavor, it was noticed frozen meat of South America. We were charged $10.00 for the churrasco who knew nothing!
family food. We stop in this place by chance and ate very well, at good price, and with good quality. It's not a broad letter, but you're told nothing else to get there: there's only meat. Abundant food and good service. do not expect a place with great luxury and comforts but in which you feel at drop. to repeat without a doubt.
Servicio rapidísimo, amable y todo rico. No se puede pedir más. Las raciones son súper abundantes y la cuenta es más que razonable. Menudo acierto después de visitar el Teide. Los de las críticas negativas y los que se quejan del precio, deberían mirárselo...

We had a stop looking for an easy meal while traveling to Teide and we enjoyed so much a meat based meal at this bodega. We tasted their local sausages, flambe! And then some excellent grilled meat. To be tested. Enjoy
Stopped here for lunch before going to El Teide, very good beef steaks and secreto ibérico (pork) also the morcilla was very good.
