Qué enorme acierto parar a cenar aquí! Ya teníamos fichado el restaurante por reseñas anteriores, pero reitero, qué gran acierto. Nos pedimos variedad de croquetas caseras, oreja a la gallega, pulpo, zamburiñas, calamares a la plancha y tortilla de patata con cebolla. Las croquetas estaban espectaculares, eran de jamón, pulpo y chocos. Estas últimas buenísimas. La oreja estaba también riquísima, no empachaba nada por la forma que estaba cocinada. Las zamburiñas.. sin palabras, tremendas! Los calamares con un sabor muy intenso y aliñados a la perfección. De la tortilla mis acompañantes dijeron que de las mejores que habían probado en los últimos años. Y en cuanto al precio, salimos a unos 30€...
We went to this restaurant because it had quite decent reviews and I personally think it does not meet my expectations or the score in TripAdvisor. We ordered Almejas a la marinera, they weren't anything special, average I would say. I ordered Pez espada (swordfish) as main and it wasn't brilliantly presented and quite oily, and it wasn't that cheap either.. I would recommend this place if you're not looking for a really special meal. On the other hand, the staff was lovely there!
Love the food. Love the service. The mussels were great! Paella was very good. Many different meals on many different days. Always good. The one thing we Midwestern Americans miss is our dipping sauces and butter on bread. The owners were always here and tried to accommodate us.
