We arrived at the bodega without knowing what to expect. We were the first costumers after the mid of the day break. I don't know what to start this review with, because from the entrance to the very end of the culinar experience, everything was just... perfect. The south american music and the interior design, sent me in a romatic mexican movie like the ones that I saw in my childhood. The personel was so nice and warm, like they knew us for a very long time and the food, the food was so so good. I recomand the speciality of the chef, the fish with onion rings and canarian potatos and chease with spices and honey. The prices are very good. We tried almost everything on the menu, plus drinks and dessert and we payed aprox fifteen euros per person. We will definitly come back and eat here when we will visit Tenerife again.
We had just got stuck on nightmare road at Bodega el Reloj which was closed and blood pressure was at top of scale. Some kindly force led us here and we were able to calm down with excellent food and wine and probably best value we had had in our month in Tenerife. Not sure what the specials were but had them anyway and got huge delicious goats stew and excellent salad. Calm friendly service. Great views from garden. Parked on street no problem. Thank you.
Just visited the restaurant in La Oratava and had the most amazing experience. Great service, homemade wine, traditional Canarian food and extremely affordable. Great value! Had starter, main and dessert and total bill was only €27 for two. Much recommended! Beautiful little town with beautiful views!
