This used to be one of our favourite places in Malaga. The wines were excellent in taste and the seafood was to die for. However we were there today and after finishing a portion of lagoustines, there was a loud bang and the whole place, including my and my wife were sprayed in a foul smelling liquid. We found that there was a problem with the drains and while trying to clear them, there was build up of pressure which exploded and sprayed the contents of the drains all over the inside of the bar. It want pleasant, but more worrying was that the food which was on display wasn't thrown away but they continued to sell it to the people outside who were unaware as to what had happened. Buy cheap wine and expensive raw seafood. You can eat inside or out... Well located, next to the central market (mercado central). Closes at 10 pm. The owner or something like that is not very friendly, always (we stop three times) to get shots of Pedro Ximenez, seemed tired and no friendly at all. Last time he rushed us because they were about to close. Enough said we rushed out to get out of there and not comeback.
