I am staying at an airbnb not too far from this local restaurant and tonight we had the most AMAZING dinner here. The quality of food...and quantity of food was worth every cent! Our waiter instantly knew we were not a “local” and made sure that we had menu’s in English and also informed us that it was asparagus season. My friend and I went for the suggestion of our waiter and he did not disappoint. It was fun to be amongst all the locals in a friendly atmosphere and feel a part of the culture. As we were walking down the street towards our flat after dinner, one of the bar servers/hostess pulled over to tell us to have a good night. She was super kind and sweet! #asparagussoupistodiefor
Traditional Swiss plates, solid cooking. The atmosphere is OK, with a rural touch. On the downside, we experienced on our visit a horrible and absolutely unwelcoming service. We were not very hungry and asked to share the two mains between the three of us. (In addition we ordered first courses, wine, etc We were told very bluntly, that sharing was not an option. After some discussion they agreed to allow us sharing but we'd have to pay 15 Swiss Franks (18 USD) for the additional (empty) plate! Needless to say that we refused.
What an amazing place ! The food is just fascinating, so delicious we wish we could visit this place at least once a month. The host is just fantastic, welcoming, polite and always helpful. I would recommend to anyone who are visiting Switzerland to visit this amazing place and taste Devine food and enjoy the company of a brilliant host and her team.
Not to be missed anytime but summer outside in beer garden is very fine, liver with rosti a beer is one of life's delights. Little outside of town, two trams a short walk down a neighborhood your with family, they are very friendly people, you'll see!

great ambiente and very friendly staff. outdoor seats (under the trees) are great for groups and for families with small children. vegetarian and vegan options are quite limited. parking directly in front of the restaurant.
very friendly but busy staff. the food is good and the prices are beautiful. has a beer garden with comfortable sitting.
great place to eat local cuisine and especially wild meat specialities.
