We stopped dining here because the food was consistently subpar, but since it had been a while, we decided to give it another chance last night. My husband picked up an eight-piece family meal around 6:15 PM, and the chicken looked and tasted like it had been under a heat lamp since at least noon. The skin was so tough that it was nearly impossible to bite into, and the chicken itself was drier than any I've ever had. On August 27, 2022, I would truly rate this place with zero stars. To be fair, my earlier visits weren't awful—just what you'd typically expect from a fast-food joint. However, today was a completely different experience. An elderly woman waited for 1 hour and 5 minutes (she even noted the time) just for two country-fried ham biscuits and two sausage biscuits, along with some Bo Berry biscuits. Unfortunately, the Bo Berry biscuits were hard and definitely not worth the wait. Overall, the food today was poorly prepared.
The restaurants in our city shut down a few years ago, so when we discovered this one during a visit to Columbia, SC, for a graduation, we felt it was worth a try. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The wings were tough and dry, as if they had been cooked hours in advance. The dirty rice was decent but served cold. My companions said the tenders were passable. I ultimately gave the restaurant three stars because of the Cajun pinto beans and the surprisingly good sweet potato pies.
The whole reason for a drive thru timer is to let them knkw what they need to improve on....currently 3 cars they have pulled forward bc thry didnt have bo-rounds ready during breakfast. And there is no one in the drive thru line. Then theybgave myorder to another car because they dont know how to write on the receipt which vehicle. So it took 17 minutes during breakfasthours for 2 steak biscuits and an order of bo-rounds. This bojangles went downhill fast.

I have a bojangles gift card with 3.20 left on it and a 5 dollar bill. The employee said she checked my gift card and there nothing on it. Which I called and of course there is still 3.20 on my gift card. I had to use my credit card to buy the food.Why is it so difficult for them to run a bojangles gift card?? Also why lie to me and say you checked my card? If you?ll lie tome about my gift card balance I?m sure you?ll do worst to the food.
I had a troubling experience at this restaurant. There was a person at the customer service desk wearing a wig, which frightened my children. I found this very unprofessional and it left my kids feeling confused and unsettled. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
We ordered 2 sides with our chicken meal which were fries. Usually they put the fries on a sleeve for fries. The fries were not in a sleeve. The fries were just dropped in the box.
Friendly cashier! Had a pork chop biscuit first time in years. It was delicious! Thank You So Much to lady window Sunday a.m. 11:30 ish!
