We had a warm welcome and attentive service. Poppadoms with a nice little salad kept us amused until the main event arrived which was surprisingly quickly. Lamb tikka shazlek sizzling straight out of the tandoori oven including peppers and onions with a side dish of mild curry sauce. But the highlight was the nan bred, freshly baked, soft and moist. As nice an Indian meal as I have had for years. Reasonably prices with old worlde touches such as warm wipes and after eights. We will be back
Couldn't fault anything. I was there on Saturday night. The venue was clean, decor lovely...loved the ceiling lights. The atmosphere was very good... live music, very entertaining. Most importantly of all the staff were very helpful and friendly and the food was excellent. Was served quickly and all dishes were pipping hot and freshly prepared. The menu was very reasonably priced. Well Done to all the hard working staff at the Bokhara Restaurant. We had a Fantastic night.
We frequent Bokhara, and it consistently meets our expectations. Recently, we tried their early bird menu, available from 5 to 7 PM, Monday to Thursday. For just £10, you get a main course with rice or chips, along with a glass of wine, a beer, or a soft drink. Plus, kids eat for free! There are about six popular curries on the menu, and each one is equally delicious. I would definitely recommend it!
This is the best Indian restaurant in Bangor! The staff always provides service with a joyful smile. They have been in business for many years and now offer an excellent early booking menu that includes a smaller portion, perfect for me, along with a glass of wine or beer at no extra cost. They also have great deals on wine and beer, making for a truly first-class dining experience. Réservez une table maintenant
We went last night for the 1st time.. my other half has never had an Indian and was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was... definitely be back. Staff where brilliant and owner just lovely and easy to talk would highly recommend bokhara. .. well worth 5* would give more but won't let me...
We had our Christmas dinner yesterday, and it was a lovely experience. The food was great, and the staff were incredibly polite and attentive. The live music was excellent as well. Overall, it was a fantastic night for everyone. Thank you, Bokhara!
We enjoyed a lovely family meal there on Tuesday evening with excellent friendly service. It was my son’s 11th Birthday and they couldn’t have been more helpful making it an evening he will fondly remember. Well done all
