I visited with a work colleague in the evening. First impressions of the small restaurant we good and we were made very welcome. There were plenty of other diners. The menu made good reading with similar dishes to other Indian restaurants. Unfortunatley that is where...the similarity stopped. The pompadoms seemed as if they were straight out of a supermarket shelf. We ordered a mixed starer for 2 and received a plate full of vegatbles tempura that was terrible. We left most of that. The main course curries were similarly disappointing, sharp in taste as well as hot of course. not an ingredient in sight in the sauce (cardomum pod, onion etc) just a sauce. This place has received some good rev...

second visit, and we were not disappointed, the taste and the temperature were perfect. the proportion is large enough for 2. I ordered the huhn vindaloo and was delicious. this time, eating was a little less spicy that the woman who took the order gave us 6 or 7 different types of seasoned to choose, and she offered us additional rice when the first 2 pots were finished. we were a party of 6 and didn't have to wait long until the food was ready. we were very happy to try.

few events offer a curry as dry. in an attempt to avoid the capsicum and tweebel ballast, lamb and kartoffels were explained. the dry karahi was still the target. lamb and kartoffel karahi, very sharp....it was. with minimal non-soup masala this was more than acceptable.

very good food, even you were slow, but wait was worth it, the taste is so good that you feel like you can cook your dish. prices are ok for an Indian restaurant in the environment, slightly higher.
