Bombay House - Réservation de table

It's not a place to go on a date, or have a dinner party... walls look a bit ran down, paintings on the walls seem to be bought at flea Market. Different taste of decor maybe. Service was excellent, restaurant is ran by a family (I assume), however there's no dress code for the staff, which makes a poor impression (Service staff wearing jogging pants and hoodies). Not that it matters... ? The food has changed dramatically. 1st time years ago was more authentic. Today the food (every dish ordered) was super salty. Maybe it was an accident... Maybe new cook.

I have spent many months in India and I have to say nothing that Bombay offers is even close in taste to "Indian Food". Starting from Lassi, which I would call a milk shake, through Garlic Naan finishing with my Panner Butter Masala as main course. I asked for spicy and got salty. It is not a matter of taste or regional dishes. There are other Indian REstaurants in K-Town that serve better food. The management should also think of redecorating the place. The interior was not inviting at all. The service was good though.

To address some comments I read... the heaters work and you get a complimentary hot bowl of soup so winter is a great time. *nasally/aloof voice, O M G like, I've been to Mumbai and this restaurant, like, isn't even part of Bombay... thanks for that review Alina lol. Anywho, the service is 5star, maybe 6 for Germany. The food is on point. Every thing I had here has been wonderful. They will even work with you if you want to adjust some spices. Spicy here isn't too hot. More like a strong medium.

Wir waren schon mehrmals hier essen und es ist jedes Mal wieder super lecker und preislich einfach ein Top Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Vorneweg gibt es immer eine sehr leckere Suppe aufs Haus. Das Restaurant selbst ist etwas altmodisch und renovierungsbedüftig, aber es ist sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen!! Wir gehen immer wieder gerne hin:) Réservez une table maintenant

This place has decent food and great hours. It's location isn't ideal, but it's worth the stop if you're in the area. The inside is a little run down and musty (old furniture, plastic peeling off of pictures), but the food is above average. I recommend the lamb curry.

Von außen etwas abschreckend, aber definitiv einen Besuch wert. :-) Essen authentisch, gut, Preise angemessen. Service super. Die Bedienung ist sehr aufmerksam. Sogar der Koch selbst kam vorbei um zu fragen, ob alles ok ist. Wir kommen wieder. :-)

So this is not the cleanest restaurant we've ever been in. But, the service was excellent as was the food. I had Lamb Vindaloo. My wife had Chicken Tikka Misala. We also got a couple of different Naans. Those were really the best part.

Never again would I go there... we found hairs in our food, uncooked meats and just overall the place looked dirty and unsanitary, few people I know have gotten sick from eating there and I can see why Réservez une table maintenant

I have never had a bad meal from here. It is our go-to for takeout. The lentil soup is SOOOO good, and we normally get the aloo gobi butter chicken w garlic naan. The food is always amazing.

Good food, great service. Bit expensive, but had a good time. More closer to authentic taste. Better than many that claim to be authentic. Would recommend!!
