It's soo sad to see a once highly regarded restaurant turn into a dead pan place to visit. The service is appallingly slow, with waiters who had no charisma, conversation or care. We were there for 2 hours waiting for a main dish, all the while takeaway orders were flying out the door. We had to ask twice for a drink and 3 times for the bill and the restaurant was 2/3 empty! Clearly their focus is on online orders now whereas before you either had ti collect or eat in. They aren't cut out for both. The food was good, not wonderful as it was before covid. First time eating here, I had the tandoori salmon which had no flavour, it come with nothing and when I asked for the salad I got some scappy bits of lettuce spread out on a plate, I asked if I could have some sauce to put on my salmon as it had no flavour, the manager came and said he would take it and put some sauce with it what did I want bhuna or masala? I said masala it took him ages then when it came back it was bhuna sauce, I then said I asked for masala he then took my salmon again for ages and it came back with a masala looking sauce on it which also didn't really taste of anything, my partner had the rogan josh which was not hot and had no flavour, all in all this was the worst Ind...
We were both sorely disappointed and would not consider returning. The staff were not welcoming. They showed no care . When our dishes were served, he just plonked the plates down. The onion bhajis were not edible, they tasted of oil, so much so I spat mine into a tissue. My main was served warm and lacked any flavour. We both left the majority of our food behind, yet nobody asked if there was a problem. The staff lacked any care, charisma or consideration towards the customer. They only had about 20 per cent occupancy and I'm really not surprised. Very disappointed
As above ,I have been coming here for 30 years with my wife, always welcome and great food, however there seems to be a change in the family or management running it, its just not the same, my wife ordered a vegetarian meal, which ended up being meat, not sure what meat, when questioned the waiter said they had given her the wrong meal, no apologies, no nothing, remember the old days when the drinks would have been free, or that meal. I miss the previous owners, we wont be coming back

I haven't been to this restaurant in a few years since the chef left and the quality declined. We decided to give it another chance tonight, but unfortunately it was even worse than before. The king prawn purie had very small prawns and only tasted like tomatoes. The rogan was very bland, I had to add a lot of salt just to make it bearable. I can't believe how overpriced it is for the poor quality. I would not recommend wasting your money here.
Waited nearly an hour before been served 31 December 2021 They seem to be more interested in takeaways When we eventually got our meals they were not the best I Left most of my meal as it was very chewy When complained the rude person said it is duck Basically take it or leave it Will never eat there again
Food great until main dishes arrived husband found large shards of what appeared to be glass in keema naan when we complained told it was bits of clay from tandoori oven got offered another which we refused no refund offered. If this had been a childs meal and digested could have had serious consequences .
I ordered takeout from this restaurant, but unfortunately some items were missing from my order, even though they were confirmed when I picked it up. I was very disappointed with the experience.

Rude service and bland food! The food was bland, service really poor, staff are quite rude and takes forever to even ask for order or to get the bill. Overall poor service poor food.
The service at this restaurant is excellent and the food is lovely. I highly recommend that everyone should visit this Indian restaurant and try something.
