The food was delicious, and service at the start of our meal was good. The restaurant was busy and after our main course, we were brought the bill rather abruptly. We were still drinking but then the waiter appeared with the card machine, we felt very rushed. We decided to move on as we assumed there was another sitting booked for the table although it was 8pm, so we went across to Starbucks for our dessert and coffee! We passed by 40 minutes later on the way back to our cars and our table was empty! Lost revenue and not a good impression.
Worst service ever, staff was so rude, we went this afternoon to have our lunch, me and my friend, food took nearly 30 mins and when the food arrived it was half of it and cold When we called 1 of the staff to check on this he said, can you take it easy food takes time in a very harsh way The staff said if you don’t want to eat you can leave It was such absurd behavior from the staff I never had such a worst experience, We left without having our lunch, would never recommend Bombay 8 to anyone. Sorry to say but worst service and staff.
Dropped in this evening (17/08/23) on a spur of the moment (I just don’t wanna cook kind of evening). We’ve been here a few times pre pandemic, and decided, despite not living really close, to go this evening, we can’t fault it to be honest, service was really good, atmosphere excellent, food was delicious, authentic and plentiful, just really good. Not overly expensive and quite frankly worth the money. Thanks team at Bombay8 for giving us a nice meal out!!
Can not believe we didn’t know about this Restaurant, apparently they have been open for 11 years. We were told about it and their lunchtime special. After a few hours shopping locally we called in and we’re warmly welcomed. The specials menu was restricted but we were very happy with the starters and even more pleased with the generous mains. Very comfortable surroundings and pleasant staff. We will definitely be back when we are in the area.

The food and service at this restaurant were excellent! The Indian food was delicious and a great value for the money. There are plenty of choices available, including options for vegans. I would highly recommend this restaurant to people of all ages. It is also a child-friendly place to eat. Overall, it provides a fine dining experience.
Fantastic curry. me and my partner discovered this place last year. The food is absolutely amazing. And the staff are very friendly. We visit at least once every two weeks if we can. We absolutely love this place its our favourite place to eat out stunning.
I was completely shocked by my meal. It was tasteless! The chips seemed to have been reheated at least 4 times. When I complained to the staff, they refused to give me a refund and were very rude. I used to love coming here, but now I am very disappointed.
The food was amazingly delicious, the service was top-notch, and I absolutely adore this restaurant. I had dinner here with my husband and we were beyond satisfied. I can't wait to return. The ambiance is lovely and the restaurant is impeccably clean.
