First of all, figueres is an incredible location and a great place to visit or stay, so you need to find good restaurant to complete your journey! We were welcome with a great smile and an energetic waitress, price are pretty correct regarding to the...qualities of the food. The menu is quite simple and plates are served with no flourishes, but everything is home made. Simple flavor, really good taste, happy face, add to this a really nice french chief who came to us to propose a personal liquor which worth the detour. I recommend to everyone who want to eat simple and good! Have a good trip in Figueres
Some friends and I decided to stop by, as this is one of the only restaurants we could see around Figueres that offers Estrella Galicia the popular Spanish beer brand. While we were enjoying the cold ones, we discovered that most people in other tables...were coming from several different countries, and the nice atmosphere created by the chef and staff encouraged us to start some friendly talk with other costumers around us. The chupito after we left was the cherry of the cake, but be careful with it or you will become a dragon!
I and 5 friends came here for dinner last minute! The food was great, particularly the meatballs (an old family recipe), moules frites and the cheese ravioli! The chocolate mousse for dessert was also really nice. The owner is absolutely brilliant super friendly and...he made sure we enjoyed everything. Be careful if you have a chupito. When he says it’s strong, he’s not lying! A great place to practice your french too! Merci!
Didn't get a chance to taste their food as they refused me to sit on the terrace. I was a single traveler and there was a table for 4 which they didn't allow me to sit on. If you respect your customers...you should never do such a thing (mension should be made that the table in the discussion was not reserved).
