Being a Winnipeger, I have now been to Bonterra Trattoria twice Once in August during my visit to Calgary ... When my friends I enjoyed our amazing dinner on your beautiful patio. And just now this past weekend, for a special birthday celebration event with 40 others. Again, it was a wonderful experience in all aspects! Your food, the ambience the service was stellar ... We look forward to our next visit to Calgary And we will definitely be back to Bonterra Trattoria ...
I have eaten here twice now and both times has been amazing, first time was with my husband we enjoyed the intimate setting and the staff was extremely knowledgeable. Second time was just as incredible, it was as a party for my friends birthday we had a semi private room and a three course plated meal, everything was timed perfectly as we were on a schedule!! Food is delicious and I'll be going back 100
After reading a few reviews this place and it sounded amazing! Was not disappointed at all. Amazing service, stunning food and ambience to die for! The appetiser plate was perfect to start and my penne with soft melting beef cheeks was spectacular! There was nothing small about the portion sizes, some people obviously don't realise that fine dining means a minimum of 3 courses.
Went with my wife and 4year-old on a whim and ended up having one of the best dinners we've had in a while! Besides the terrific food, its was the service of our waiter, Sandor(? , that elevated the evening to being so enjoyable for us. Highly recommended! Réservez une table maintenant
Bonterra offers a well thought out take on Italian cooking. We chose head chef Ben's Menu which included smoked goose as hors d'oeuvre, the feature risotto and a surprising goat's cheese cheesecake rolled in pistachios. They have a great patio.
This was one of the best meal dove ever eaten. I'm a self proclaimed foodie and enjoy fine restaurants. The staff was so knowledgable, friendly, and utterly amazing. The chef even came to our table. Will be back Every time I come to Calgary.
We had friends of our invite us there for dinner . Your service food were a 10. I want to thank you all for a wonderful meal . I will recommend your restaurant yo all.

"the dumplings and chicken feet taste quite good. the sauce on the chicken feet is alright, I find it a little too greasy, or maybe that's just the way how its supposed to be. service is fast but probably because I'm the only customer during my visit!"

"Even though it was a slow night at the restaurant (due to a holiday), we received subpar service. Our chicken tikka was delivered 25 minutes after the rest of our order. The manager did refund the dish, but we still left feeling unsatisfied."
