Living just a block and a half away, our family frequents Book Club regularly. It is a fantastic spot for families with a diverse and delicious menu. They offer everything from savory steaks to mouthwatering burgers, as well as creative craft cocktails and a delectable black bean huevos during brunch. We often order their Fried Chicken Dinner for 2 to-go. We greatly appreciate their dedication to staying open during severe Minnesota blizzards. We will definitely be returning time and time again.
Great find! Takes reservations, outdoor patio seating available in warmer months, slightly quirky decor inside, good food, not overly crowded on a weekend morning, and the service was great! They even have a small parking lot on the south side of the building (where I would've normally expected street parking in South Minneapolis . Came for dinner after randomly spotting this restaurant. So glad we did! It was a cozy place with fun decor and friendly staff! The food was also very good! We had the steak and chicken skewers to start and they both had great tasting marinades! We had the mushroom green bean bowl with salmon and the portion sizes were perfectly filling! Definitely looking forward to trying their breakfast next time!
I absolutely loved the bread pudding at this restaurant! It was like a fancier version of French toast. The coffee was perfect and the chicken sandwich was crispy and just the right thickness. I haven't tried the Cobb salad I took home yet, but it looks beautiful. The service was great and the atmosphere was nice. They have lots of vegetarian and vegan options clearly labeled on the menu.

I have nothing to complain about. My fiancé and I shared both the fried tofu and both the steak and chicken kabobs. All were amazing. I had the Broccoli Mac and Cheese with added fried chicken. And my fiancé had the fried chicken sandwich with house made chips. Neither of us talked while eating. It met our expectations and we will be back. We went fairly late and it wasn’t busy at all.
Absolutely delicious. The menu is very unique and changes regularly. I tried the Mezcal Sour for my drink and absolutely loved it! The strong smoky flavor was a perfect complement to our winter meal. My salmon was cooked perfectly and the cheese underneath was a great pairing. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his seafood red curry as well.
I had the vanilla custard french toast with candied walnuts and whip creme. That's right! And it was amazing. Very very nice employees. My husband and I had a great time!
Everything we tried was great and the server did a great job considering he was waiting on the whole place!!!
