Went here for lunch with some friends on a lovely sunny day - location is great, overlooking the Glenelg foreshore. Décor is 'shabby chic' with a mixture of furniture probably acquired from op shops or house sales, but it works! Inside is a little marred by the quite loud music which seemed to be tuned to Triple J or similar, so definitely not targeted at out age group (baby boomers sad to say!). However, the outside tables were quiet and the view was nice. The menu is varied and very reasonably priced for that location. Their breakfast menu looked very good and they have daily specials. Food ranged from very good to average in the 4 meals we ordered - I was happy with my Chicken Caesar Sala...
As tourists to Adelaide we made the obligatory trip down to Glenelg beach on the tram to get the souvenir photos and felt like coffee and cake for morning tea. Boomers Café looked like a good prospect with a picturesque outlook towards the beach and jetty. It had a pleasant ambience with its retro décor including laminex tables. The service was cheerful and welcoming, the prices reasonable, the carrot cake exceptional and the coffee just right. A good choice all round.
We popped in for a drink and a snack, myself, Hubby, Grandma and our 14 month old son.Milkshake was delicious, and looked really good, Grandma really enjoyed her Flat white from here too! (She's a regular customer!)We ordered pancakes with fruit and wow! They were delicious! And we all enjoyed them!! 2 portions was plenty between the 4 of us!!Views stunning and plenty of shade for a break from the sun!
Great location with a good view of the sea but that is about it. There is nothing special in the menu and what there is, is overpriced for what it is. You can get much better burgers from the local fish and chip shop. The staff try hard but don't get the basics right ( why deliver coffee, 45 minutes before the meal it is supposed to follow?). There are much better and cheaper places to eat in Glenelg. Réservez une table maintenant
We had Breakfast here twice, the first morning Full English and what a breakfast it was!!! perfectly cooked nice and hot also enough to feed two people on one plate. morning 2 Eggs Benedict absolutely wonderful just enough and nice and hot, also lovely coffee.. highly recommended we will be back
Stumbled across this quaint cafe facing Glenelg jetty & kids playground. Great little pit stop cafe. Friendly service, beautiful eggs Benedict & cappuccino. Great view & reasonable prices. Definitely recommend this cafe for unformal catchups and sports people fuel pit stop. I'll be back for sure
Look, I have to be honest and say we didn't actually eat here but the lady behind the counter was so friendly and helpful the place deserves a good review! I bought four pairs of the locally made earrings and had a lovely chat with her. Great location close to the beach and the kids playground.
