I am very saddened to write this as I have been to Boones before and have had great service. My grandparents and I came to Boones last night to enjoy the food and listen to some good music, but our service was absolutely horrible. We waited around 20 minutes for our server to greet us, so long that the hostess brought us waters while we waited. We immediately put in our orders when our server finally came and also put in our drinks. We did not see our server again for probably an hour, but we did see other workers as they brought us our drinks. Another table were sat outside and that is when we saw our server again. First time back for breakfast in several years. The new paint outside and renovated decor inside have really freshened up Boone's. Varied and interesting menu. I had the buttermilk pancakes with two eggs over easy and bacon. Everything was cooked to perfection, and the pecan syrup is delicious. My wife ordered eggs scrambled dry, hashbrowns and wheat toast. It took quite a while for the food to arrive (they were busy), and when it did, the eggs were watery, and the rest of the food was cold. It had been sitting too long on the pass-through. Service was beyond slow. The waitress was trying hard to be cheerful but was clearly trying to serve the whole place, indoors and out, solo, on a Sat night. The food was not hot, minimally seasoned, and unadorned (burger and bun on plate. Period), for $13. The music was too loud to talk over even after we asked if it could be lowered. I won’t be back.
Boone's was suggested by the security guards at the Capital and did not disappoint. We were there at noon on a Saturday so they were serving only breakfast items but there was plenty to pick from. The kids loved the Chocolate Chip pancakes and the bacon was perfect. Réservez une table maintenant
