I went in for a bite to eat on my lunch to order a Jacket potato with Pawns to be advised they didn't serve prawns in the winter months, so ok, I'll have a tuna melt panini then instead! After I plucked one from the fridge and handed it to the staff member to warm up, I sat down to tuck in but although it had a whiff of tuna about it, I couldn't actually taste much. All I could taste was warm buttery bread and realised why when I opened it up. I couldn't see any cheese at all but worse still, there was barely a visible scraping of tuna on one side of the panini. I wish I'd taken a photo it was a joke!. When I returned it to the staff, I think they were well used to this type of complaint as...

The girls behind the till are absolutely useless, honestly I 'm all for employing our younger generation but when you ask for a sausage roll for your son and receive a sausage butty it 's a real face-palm moment. I mean, come on! The sausage rolls are on the **** menu! We were charged £7 for that, until the Lovely Older Lady realised what the dim witted ones had done and came to give us our change. They also couldn 't grasp the concept of putting bacon and egg on a barm. Here 's how the conversation went.. Hiya, could I get a bacon and egg sandwich and a cup of tea please? So that 's one bacon on toast with extra egg? No it 's on a muffin/barm please. OK, anything else? Just the cup of tea p...
I visited this restaurant today, even though I had previously said I wouldn't come back because there are better places to eat that care about the quality of their food. I ordered the big breakfast and it arrived quickly, but the eggs seemed like they had been cooked 20 minutes ago and left to sit, rendering them rubbery and solid. I asked for fresh eggs, but when my plate was returned to me 3 minutes later, the eggs were equally rubbery. They did change the toast that I hadn't touched, but left the half-eaten sausage that had clearly been sitting under a heat lamp. It's disappointing to see such lack of care from the chef, who should take pride in their work. Below is a picture of the half-...
Visited today. Had run out of the fish goujon sandwich even though it was only 12 noon on Monday. Opted for a tuna cheese melt instead but there was no cheese on it so not sure what made it a melt . Would have chosen a ham and cheese toastie but they had run out of those also. Side salad was just lettuce and tomatoes no dressing. All very boring and tasteless. Had a piece of cake which was just okay as it was a bit dry. All very disappointing. Réservez une table maintenant
The cafe and supermarket are extremely poorly managed, reminiscent of the chaos at Fawlty Towers. The staff often seem more interested in chatting amongst themselves than attending to customers, leading to long wait times and obstacles in navigating the store. It seems like they only hire the least competent individuals and fail to properly supervise them. Overall, a truly terrible experience.
Things haven't changed, I've just read about how bad the eggs on toast were eight years ago, I called in for eggs on toast this morning, How bad can you cook eggs on toast, Booths can hid the burnt side of the toast underneeth the overcooked rubbery eggs, appalling, all this with the cooker/microwave alarms constantly beeping. I will not be going back.
Waiting 20 minutes in line just to place an order was unacceptable. The process was disorganized, with some items listed on the menu but not available at the till. Additionally, the front desk staff had to prepare paninis and toasties, while the chef in the back just watched, causing further delays.
Been here quite a few times the staff are the best of all the booths I’ve visited, but the food isn’t the best at all please booths sort its out it uses to be so much nicer, this prepacked food is just awful with absolutely no taste at all! Réservez une table maintenant
