After visiting many dive bars in Blackpool, I was taken to this place on a night out and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Entry was free before 9pm, and the atmosphere inside was a refreshing change from the usual bars in Blackpool. The decor was impressive and clean, and we found a comfortable sofa to enjoy the night watching alternative bands. We happened to stumble upon a charity night with various amateur bands playing, and we were impressed by the quality of the acts. The vibe inside was different from what I expected, and I will definitely be returning to try the bar food from their reasonable menu. my first time last night! I wanted to go for months, but kovid restrictions and they sold out have prevented me from visiting. I signed up to her free email list and yesterday had the big surprise for free tickets to see emily rhodes and pizza girls. both were great, but pizza girls have to be pumped into my musical contemporary spirit and were a real one. the venue is located in the cellar with sofas and tables as well as a standing area and a long bar, which trades and sells lays. it is a great room and in contrast to any other music venue I have visited has beautiful clean toilets. the bootleg social is definitiw a visit worth or two.
This club is fantastic. It is a very intimate venue that features live bands and DJs playing alternative music. Craig Charles has performed here three times in the last two years. The prices at the door are cheap and they serve cocktails. The staff is friendly and the dress code is relaxed. Food is available until 9:30pm and they also have movie nights on a surround sound big screen. They host new talent live act nights as well. Make sure to check out their Facebook page for upcoming events. I highly recommend this place.
For a nightclub the quality of food is amazing. This is becoming one of the little blackpool diamonds, some live music and poetry nights too! also A place that satisfies locals and visitors alike.
