The restaurant is severely under staffed. We were sat at 6:20, ordered drinks and didn't see the server again for 30 minutes. We stopped the server and asked to order. She apologized and explained the restaurant is under staffed. We were very sympathic until she never returned again. After an hour and a half, food served but no refreshing our drinks or clearing the dirty tapas dishes from the table. Food came, plates stacked up and no drinks. We finally spoke with the hostess who was very apologetic, gave us water and removed a few items from our bill as a good will gesture. We sincerely appreciated her responsiveness but it never should have come to that point.
I was so DEEPLY DISAPPOINTED by my experience here, and also embarrassed being the one who coordinated this dinner for a reunion with a group of friends visiting out of town. Every single item was lukewarm to cold, lacking any kind of depth of flavor, or oddly dried out. The quality and texture was similar to that of a microwaved frozen meal. To top it off, it was significantly more expensive than the other option— next time I will go there, and NEVER return here. At least I can say we had an attentive server.
this place is worth a try. the croquettes were very delicious and creamy and the paella was one of the best. we felt that this place was better than fiola mare (sorry team trabocchi.) the tasty, Mediterranean coastal fragrances on the way to the washroom they felt they wanted to go back to their table for their next dish. great aura and ambiente to the square.
First time here, and food and service were fantastic, even though it's a fairly limited menu. Bartender didn't know how to make our (very common) drinks. The main problem is the seating it's virtually all high-tops, and they're not comfortable. For that reason alone, we probably won't return.

I had never been to Boqueria and I went on my birthday for dinner. The atmosphere, food and service were outstanding! Our server was Maddie, and she was amazing, very attentive and helpful when we had questions. A perfect birthday dinner experience!
octopus was hard. despite the demand for nuts free veggie nuts have been added. the table was asymmetric, waiting her, he was an aloof.
it did not seem as consistent as the other Boqueri’s I visited. only one is nashville.
Get the paella!! ... had with side tapas but the paella made the meal!!
