When the appended hotel started in May 2013 with its Pre Opening Phase, I opted for a short agreement that I redeemed a few days ago. The rooms are very tasteful, with plenty of open wood and high-quality textiles. The restaurant has two spacious sun terraces in front of the morning sun during breakfast, a very quiet back, with an enormous amount of green and a very relaxed atmosphere. Unfortunately, the service is still a little inconsistent and insecure, here it is simply necessary to have more experience, as the staff in principle appeared very young to me. The half board I booked included a four-course menu with a meat or a fish dish to choose from. Bread is served for food with spreads. The tomatoes with buffalo mozzarella were very fresh and dressed. The mushroom soup was an absolute hit: very creamy, very creamy, very spicy with fresh forest mushrooms was not saved! A little fad, however, was the salmon trout, which had to be strongly reheated. The carrot spoons were boiled to the point, the green asparagus sticks were hearty. The dessert with ice variations of pineapple and nougat was very clear. This time I could not use the charming wine card, because in a really hot day the mind was more like a wine choir (very cheap: 3.50 Euro for 0.2 liter). Also the Aperol spray of my companion (6.50 Euro) was deliciously fresh and well cooled. Unfortunately, the Schnakenplage, which is very violent this year, ended our relaxed food on the terrace somewhat too early. Inside the restaurant (sometimes undercooled, but tastefully decorated) it can also be really challenging. The breakfast buffet has all the ingredients expected from a top-class location. I noticed positively: the selection of sourdough vegetables, the inlaid herrings, the variations of fresh, regional fruit, the selection of nuts and the fine pastries. Hot drinks must be ordered at the staff, which is unfortunately not always fast on site. In principle, Bora is an excellent place of high price class with a sophisticated ambience. The service is still expandable. The food could be anything better, but these are already the fines.... I wish the Bora all the best for the coming season!!
