Bordelaise - Réserver une table

Overall our evening at Bordelaise was not consistent with the price we paid, the food was good but service not so, had the service been as good as the food we would have no complaints. Initially our booking was not found, when finally confirmed, we were seated and then waited at least 10 minutes while the waitresses chatted amongst themselves. Our request for drinks to be served before the 1st course was ignored, in fact they arrived after the first course. The drinks (gin and tonics) were served incorrectly in tumblers that spilt on the table but there was no apology or attempt to mop up the liquid. The food was very nice. Wine selection slightly limited. Staff very friendly but also very inexperienced and could have been more attentive, we had to ask for a couple of things twice as they forgot.

Generally the food was good. Gravy wasn't as hot as it should be. Starter Caesar salad could have been improved with homemade croutons.

Lovely vibes. Do prefer the old menu, duck burger is quite rich but nice.
