My wife and me just went to dinner at this place. My wife ordered a salad without any cabbage. What we got WAS actually a salad with plenty of cabbage. She did not see it firstly, because there was green salad above it. When the waiter asked if everything would be ok she said yes , but then as she continued to eat through the meal she discovered the cabbage. The waiter explained that she mixed the salad up with someone else, so another table received what we ordered. But this did not bother her at all, and when the manager came he, too, said that we stated all would be fine at the beginning and that is what we have now and we have to pay for all, full amount. Nothing special on the menu, it is kind of standard - soups, salads, some pasta dishes, chicken, some local dishes... but it is well prepared and nicely presented. We were not sure we had sufficient time for eating, since we were going to a show starting less than one hour after we came into the restaurant - but we told the waiter, and they made sure that we had no waiting time, so we finished eating with time to spare. The restaurant at Offenburger Freiheitsplatz with reference to the interesting art object is beautiful and modern, has a long bar and offers a not too diverse but varied menu. The selected dishes corresponded to expectations and were pleasant. However, access via several steep steps is very difficult.
Very recommended for good bourgeois cuisine with often great selection of other refined dishes. Great outdoor area in a much green ambience with sufficient distance and friendly service. Here you can feel like on holiday under the trees. Very recommended.
Salad and dressing were very delicious. The ordered roast potatoes were very good (but I am better at home; The service was very friendly and price performance is completely fine. I'll be back soon...

Unverschämte Bedienung, welche nur schnippisch Bemerkungen macht. Teure und extrem kleine Portionen, nicht mehr wirklich empfehlenswert.
