that would probably have been my place in the CPP days, super cool that there are more vegan friendly places near my old stomping area. bright colored (loud pink) building with very “mi gente” vibes, there are beautiful cacti around the building and in the adjacent parking space. Please note that the restaurant is currently open and refurbished so that it is only for the departure. Staff/Personal friendly, also someone in the line, was super friendly! I opened my car door, how?! amazing! I had the streets tacos, 'de papa y nopales' and 'pa con chorizo' whoa- brought me back to Mexico City, as they tasted like 'tacos de canasta' to drink, I had the limonade w/chia seeds, gurke and orange slip...
There might be a better vegan Mexican restaurant than Borreguitas, but if so, I have not come across it. Everything we had here was unbelievably good, and I have been recommending it to everyone! The prices are pretty good, too. We lucked out, coming on Taco Tuesday. Had one of each kind, and they were all delicious, as were our enchiladas and burrito. The hibiscus agua fresca is to die for. It's really nice that everything on the menu is vegan, too, although that does make it difficult to choose from so many great options!. Currently it's take-out only, but hopefully that will change soon. You can tell from the friendly staff that dine-in would be a good experience. Cannot wait to come back...
borreguitas is a very interesting (at this time, only due to Kovid protocols) restaurant with homemade Mexican food. completely vegetarian, strongly dressed in vegan in most, and 95% of the items can be ordered gluten-free as well as how they have gf tortillas in both burritos and taco sizes. I had the vegan burrito that was very tasteful - the beans are casual but tasty; the rice is very tasteful. my child had the potato tacos and announced them the best he ever had. delicious vegan smoothie/shakes also. very nice staff. it looks like it's a good dune-in room when they open up for it.
We got take out and it was universally loved. The adults had wet burrito al pastor, really really good. My wife who never finishes ate it all. I got the a la Diablo sauce and it was truly delicious and spicy. Kids for cheese enchiladas and were very happy with it. We all shared nachos al pastor, very pleased. The chips were made fresh and plenty of toppings. I had an asada street taco, also very good. Liked the green salsa and a steak at $1.50.

Omgoodness! My first time here. The beef street tacos were amazing! Everything looked and smelled fresh and delicious! Very kind staff, quick service. You know it’s good when people are constantly ordering. I will be back for sure.
I love this place great place to eat and get your Mexican vegan fair great drink options whenever I get a chance to drive by I do since it's far from my house
I ordered the al pastor burrito and my gf ordered the potato tacos. Both were great and the girls working there were super helpful and friendly.
I tried the tacos on my first visit and these are none new favorite tacos. They taste more like authentic tacos, not “Americanized”.

on Tuesday, tacos are only $1. I always get the “Asada” as my filling for tacos and burritos. the aguas frescas are also delicious
my man isn't totally vegan as I'm strict, and he loves her street tacos. delicious!
