Borrelli's Italian

Borrelli has been a staple in East Meadows since the 1950s for good reason. The famous pizza is a must-try, and I was not disappointed. The margherita pizza was baked to perfection with plenty of sauce and fresh mozzarella. The prices were fair and the atmosphere was very friendly, making it a great spot for families or groups. I also enjoyed the live music on weekends as a nice bonus. The only reason I didn't give a 5-star rating was because my dinner felt a bit rushed. I understand that restaurants need to turn over tables, but since we ordered a bottle of wine, I expected to be able to sip and enjoy it at a leisurely pace. I had high hopes for this restaurant, but unfortunately, I found everything to be lacking in flavor. The Caesar salad on the side seemed old and I was so let down that I threw it away without even taking a photo. The only highlights were the delicious ice cream and garlic bread. While the portions were generous, I wished the dishes had more taste. The chicken piccata was especially disappointing as it barely had any capers.

We were just at Borrellis Trattoria for a bridal shower. Conveniently located at Hempstead Turnpike right in front of Meadowbrook Parkway, there are plenty of private parking. We had a spacious half private party room, but the tables were somewhat crowded. The food was good and our server worked very hard to please everyone. Clean bathroom. No complaints.

I highly recommend this restaurant! The mozzarella sticks were delicious and the pizza was excellent. I also had a personal pizza with mushrooms and green peppers which was super tasty. The Oreo ice cream cake was out of this world.

Pizza was phenomenal! Staff was great! Trisha behind the bar was extremely friendly and welcoming! Mark who I believe was a manager was also very welcoming! A very family centered restaurant with great food! Highly recommended

This Italian restaurant is my go-to spot, and I have never been disappointed with my experience there. There is plenty of space and the service is always excellent. I especially love their warm bread!

Whenever we order takeout, we make sure to add the meatballs and garlic bread to our meal. The prices are excellent, the staff is friendly, and the food always arrives hot and fresh.

The cheese was undercooked again, this is the second time it has happened. I suppose I can't request extra cheese.
