The Rumpsteak Mafioso a had with braised potatoes (with baxon) was excellent and the salat that came with it had a very good dressing. The service was quick, very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is very cozy and comfortable in the somewhat "smallish" restaurant. There is also the option to play a little dice game and just sit and have a drink with friends if that is what you are looking for. Warmest recommendations from me. Great value for the money.
Borsenkeller is located on the major pedestrian street of Flensburg. The only server in the resturant had a very welcoming attitude indeed, so we didn't think twicw, even the only unreserved tables were not ideally located. We actually selected this restaurant becouse of the fish specialities on the menu, but ended up eating meat. Food was skillfully prepared and quite nicely presented and the portion size left nothing to hope for. Good value.
It is mostly a fish restaurant, but because i don't like to eat fish i went for the "frikadeller"meat balls with baked potatoes.for 8½ euro's i didn't expect the best but when the food got served i was supprized..- very nice juicy and tasty meat- little salad as makeup for the dish including sweet melon.- good baked potatoes with some bacon and unions.Combined with a local brewed ice cold beer, it was a real "thumbs up"
Have been here 3-4 times and had good food, but never again. Booked a table in advance, and waited 75 minutes for our food a Tuesday evening. When I asked the waiter (twice) if they had forgotten us, she just laughed and joked about it. Not a single "sorry" or anything else to compensate for this very bad experience. We asked asked meal without tomato and it had tomato on it, both meals were lukewarm. One meal was sent back to be reheated and the portion was smaller second time and the crokettes had lost their chrispiness. Had we bought this meal at a supermarked cafeteria (same standard) we woud have been ok but fr the price... NOT good enough
I got the borsenkeller plate. There is plenty of food to satisfy even my hunger. Well prepared and Nice waitress. The table was outside in the street but that was cozy. Remember to bring Cash, as they do not tale cards. There is a cash terminal just across the street though.
I ate here with my family and a group of my wife's colleagues and we all enjoyed it. The ambiance is nice and the service was very good. I asked for a traditional meal and was rewarded with fish and corned beef. Trust me, it tastes a 100 times better than it sounds.
The location is good. Cosy indoors and also nice outside. A wienerschnitzel can be made in many ways, but the one I was served was not the best I had. A little bit to thick and the fried potatoes was a bit burned in some pieces. The salad was fresh and nice. Réservez une table maintenant
